Ferrari 812 Superfast rental: visit the Royal Palace of Caserta at Easter

The weather is usually splendid at this time of year in Caserta, about half an hour from Naples, and the Easter holidays are therefore the perfect opportunity to choose to rent the Ferrari 812 Superfast and visit the city and its Bourbon Palace, the largest royal residence in the world.

Declared a World Heritage Site in 1997, since 2017 it has been possible to visit the Royal Palace of Caserta even on Easter Sunday and Easter Monday, which until then had been prohibited for reasons of heritage protection. The Royal Palace of Caserta is an architectural masterpiece unique in the world, built at the behest of Charles III of Bourbon King of Naples, who chose Caserta for its more sheltered position compared to Naples, which instead is exposed to the danger of siege from the sea. Visiting the Royal Palace of Caserta today allows you to contemplate an invaluable collection of furnishings, frescoes and works of art enclosed in almost 1,200 rooms between the royal apartments and other areas. In addition to the interiors of the Palace, built in Baroque and Neoclassical style, it is also possible to visit the Renaissance-style Park of the Palace, which will guide you along a deeply suggestive itinerary made up of uncontaminated woods, luxuriant meadows and the famous water games of the waterfalls and fountains.

Proceeding, you can also visit the enchanting, exquisitely romantic English Garden, wanted by Queen Maria Carolina, dotted with extremely picturesque views, reliefs, waterways and an exceptional variety of exotic plants. In short, if you are still thinking about where to go for Easter, by now you should have understood that visiting the Royal Palace of Caserta means discovering an exceptional and delicate ecosystem that, despite its inestimable value, every year manages to host more than a million visitors from all over the world. And what better way than a Ferrari 812 Superfast to set off your discovery for such an invaluable treasure chest of rare beauty?

The yellow Ferrari 812 Superfast to visit the Royal Palace of Caserta and its surroundings

You don't necessarily have to go far to spend your spring break in an original way. Once you have visited the Royal Palace of Caserta and its wonders, your rented Ferrari 812 Superfast can lead you to the discovery of the other surprises stored in this incredible city, one of the most visited in Italy. In our opinion, the unmissable attractions to visit after the Palace are:

  • Casertavecchia, a medieval hamlet as well as the oldest district of the city, where you can admire the remains of the fortress, the bell tower and above all the Cathedral with its numerous architectural influences, from the Campanian and Sicilian Romanesque style to the Arabesque, Byzantine and Norman elements;
  • The San Silvestro Wood, an ancient royal hunting reserve, today part of the World Heritage Site recognized by UNESCO, environmental center and WWF Oasis;
  • The Monumental Complex Belvedere San Leucio, a hamlet a few steps from the Palace, built in the past to collect the artisan weaving excellence;
  • The Amphitheater of Capua, built by Augustus and scene of the infamous revolt led by Spartacus: it is the largest Roman amphitheater in the world following the Colosseum in Rome;
  • The Aqueduct of Vanvitelli, the spectacular result of hydraulic engineering, 38 kilometers long and considered one of the most unique works in all of Europe.
