Ferrari 812 Superfast: rent it and discover the best coastal cities in Italy.

20 July 2021

If you close your eyes and think of Italy, what do you see? Most likely the gondolas of Venice, the grandeur of the Colosseum in Rome, the pinnacles of Milan Cathedral or even what is one of the emblems of the Renaissance and the symbol of Florence and the Bel Paese abroad, namely the iconic David by Michelangelo.

Is that right? Yet perhaps you don't know that the Italian peninsula is the perfect destination for sea lovers, who can find the best beaches in Italy spread over more than 7500 km of coastline.

It is extremely difficult to identify where the best places to stay along the Italian coast are. But we like challenges, and we certainly don't hold back. Before addressing this, however, we believe we must give you two preliminary bits of information:

  • Firstly: there really isn't a better time to visit the Italian coast. All seasons are wonderful and can give you unforgettable emotions. If we are really forced to choose, well let's say that perhaps spring, from April to June, is the ideal period: just consider that from June through to August there are real barbaric invasions, with over 15 million visitors, while the number of travellers in March and April (and October) drops to about seven million, less than half of those present during the summer months. Furthermore, Italy's climate in spring is pleasant almost everywhere, with average maximum temperatures of 15-20 degrees, unlike the often torrid heat (25-35 degrees) of the summer months, especially in the south;
  • Secondly: renting a Ferrari in Italy is the best way to discover its coastal cities. Specifically, we believe that you should choose a Ferrari 812 Superfast, the most powerful and performing Ferrari ever, certainly the most suitable for visiting the best coastal cities in Italy.

Are you ready to hit the road? Buckle up your seat belt and let's go!

The best beaches on the Italian east coast to visit while buzzing onboard a Ferrari Superfast 812.

Before setting off to visit some of the finest places in Italy on the east coast, we would like to inform you that we can have your Ferrari 812 Superfast wherever you prefer. Do you want to collect it from an airport parking lot, outside a hotel, in the centre of a city? All you need to do is tell us and we will meet your every need, whatever it may be.

So, with no further ado, let's set off immediately for Puglia, where there are undoubtedly some of the best beaches on the eastern coast of Italy (perhaps some of the most beautiful ever on either side of the peninsula).

The sunny heel of the Italian boot, Puglia, is renowned for its pine forests, its countryside of olive and lemon trees, its small and picturesque fishing villages and its paradisiacal beaches. And it is the latter that makes the Adriatic seaside resort Torre Dell'Orso the mecca for lovers of the Italian sun and sea. Sugary sands and shallow, transparent waters that stretch into the distance, spectacular white cliffs and a 16th-century stone tower - which once served as a lookout tower - frame the perfect setting.

Close to Torre Dell'Orso, the city of Otranto is another popular Apulian destination with breathtaking beaches, such as Baia dei Turchi, Spiaggia Alimini and I Due Mori, where the Adriatic Sea is so blue that it will take your breath away. But while the beaches are the main attraction of Torre Dell'Orso, Otranto is also known for its waterfront and picturesque old town. The waterfront area is full of Salento fish specialists, baguetterie, artisan shops and medieval architecture. Do not miss the magnificent 12th-century mosaic floor of the Cathedral of Otranto, depicting the Tree of Life.

The best places to visit on the Italian Adriatic coast: a stop with the Ferrari 812 Superfast is a must on the Conero Riviera.

Among the best beaches in Italy, those of the Conero Riviera, in the Marche region deserve a special mention: here you can admire over 20 km of coastline and a promontory overlooking the sea that gives life to caves, coves and inlets between the white rock and the green of the Conero Regional Park, where wild flora and fauna alternate with breathtaking views.

Turn off your Ferrari 812 Superfast's engine and slowly immerse yourself in what is called the Pearls of the Adriatic, which fully deserve to be listed among the best coastal cities in Italy: Numana, Sirolo and Marcelli.

We will not reveal anything to you so that we don't spoil the surprise: all you need to know is that Sirolo - which due to its position acts as a natural balcony overlooking the Adriatic Sea - thanks to the clarity of its waters and the pristine environment of the Natural Park del Conero has been awarded the blue flag consecutively since 1994, the only municipality in Italy and that Numana - also awarded several times the blue flag of Europe which confirms the quality of the sea and its beaches and the particular attention to tourism eco-sustainable - Sirolo contends for the primacy of the most beautiful town on the Adriatic Riviera.

Both towns undoubtedly represent some of the best places to visit on the Italian Adriatic coast: it's up to you to decide which the most beautiful is!
